Wilburn L. Jenkins

He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. Willie retired from Alcoa after 28 years. He was a mason. He enjoyed bowling, camping, loved to work on tractors, hunt with his grandson and raise Beagles. He was a member of the West Side Christian Church for many years and later a member at Howell General Baptist Church.

Wilburn was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jenkins; parents; son, Kenny Jenkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Hayes (Karl); grandsons, Justin Hayes (Jamie), Drew Jenkins (Lindsey); great-grandchildren, Evan Hayes, Sophia Hayes, and Claire Hayes; and nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN. officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin and Pastor Carl Mann followed by entombment at Alexander Memorial Park.

Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Friday, from 12:00 noon until service time.
