

Wilma Dean Deutsch, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away surrounded by family on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Central City, KY to the late Herman Len Wagner and Mary Louise (Hardin) Wagner.
Wilma cooked at Ol’ Sweig’s for many years, she later worked as a waitress at VFW Post # 1114. She was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Church. Wilma loved to dance, crochet and sew. She loved life, her beloved dog Princess, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Deutsch; parents, Herman and Louise Wagner; siblings, Herman Wagner Jr., William Wagner, Clifford Wagner, and Shirley Clements; and son, Bobby Joe Deutsch.
Wilma is survived by her children, Michael Becker (Rita), Philamena Decker, Mary Holder (Steve), Donna Clements (David), and Debbie Wolf (Jim); sister, Barbara Rhoades (Gerald); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and lots of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Ted Totsch followed by entombment at Alexander Memorial Park.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
