Dear David and Kelly,
    This weekend I learned about Zach. I am so sorry.  David, I remember seeing you while I was teaching at Glenwood, and we had a discussion about Zach.  You were so proud of the young man he had become.  I was so blessed to have had Zach as a student.  He was such a pleasant and happy boy.  My favorite memory of him was when he cut his bangs but told you a classmate cut them.  I still tell that story.  I see from his handsome picture that he prefers short bangs.  
    May you find comfort with beautiful memories of your beautiful son and may God keep you in His arms during this difficult time.

   I just learned today about Zach.  I am absolutely heartbroken.  He was one of my all time favorite students.  I loved him so much.  I have so many wonderful memories of Zach from my 5th grade class.  He was always by my side in the garden and the classroom.  He was such a joy!  So smart, so good, so kind.  With all my heart I send my love to you.  I feel so blessed to have known Zach. And been his teacher.  Much, much love to you.

Kelly, my parents bought the house I grew up in on Jackson Avenue from your parents over 40 years ago. I remember you as a teenager who hung out with my neighbor Lynn. I saw you at Hacienda a few days before you lost your son and didn't know if you would remember me, so I didn't say anything. I was deeply saddened to hear you lost your son. As a mother, I cannot imagine the grief you are experiencing. No parent should have to feel the pain you must feel. My deepest sympathy to you and your husband David. God bless. We have cried many tears since hearing of Zach's passing! Zach escorted our daughter to Junior prom. He always had a huge smile and caused quite a bit of laughter in our home!  He was always very respectful and kind to our family.  We are so sorry for your loss and pray that you find comfort knowing that your precious Zachariah is resting safe in the hands of God!
