

Preceding Jean in death are her parents, Zola and James Stratton; sisters, Susie Davis and Maxine Ahearn; and daughters, Ruthie Butler and Deena Drury.
Surviving family include her husband of 29 years, James A. Culver; daughters, Loretta L. Butler, Janet L. Young (Jim), and Jennifer L. Farmer (Harold E.); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Marsha Hudnall (Larry); brother, James Wayne Stratton (Susan); and nieces and nephews.
Jean retired from Community Methodist Hospital as a housekeeper after 28 years. She enjoyed going to the Gathering Place where she often played Bingo. Jean also cherished her time with grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Pentecostal Church, or to St. Anthony's Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at New Hope Pentecostal Church, 5 Meadow Street, Henderson, KY, 42420, officiated by Pastor Tony Payne. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2023 at church, and on Tuesday from Noon until service time at church.
