Jesus called Bernice Lorraine (Bratlie) Bradley to eternal life on December 20, 2010. Born June 17, 1925, Bernice married Raymond Bradley on April 11, 1945. As a war bride and navy wife she followed her husband to calls of duty in Corpus Christi, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; San Diego, California and finally settled in Everett, WA where she spent the last 50 years of her life. Bernice and Raymond were blessed with three children. Her survivors include two daughters, Carol (Fred) Poyner, Camano Island, WA; Kathy Davis; Everett, WA; one son, Michael (Mary) Bradley, Puyallup WA; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Devoted daughters, Carol and Kathy, were her beloved companions and caregivers in the final years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her sister Helen Fiero, husband Raymond Bradley, and son Wesley Howell (Monroe, WA). A dedicated wife and mother, Bernice was all about her family. Ever ready with advice, loved ones frequently heard, “I’m just telling you like it is.” She was an accomplished cook and gardener and to the present, people enjoy berries from her raspberry cuttings.

“Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:54b-57
