Betty was a people person who could talk to anyone. A running family joke is that Betty would be the last one to leave any event. She was always engrossed in a conversation with whomever was remaining. She was also active in the Everett Women's Book Club History Group for many years, attended by friends made during her early years in Everett. She always felt fortunate to have a large extended group of lifelong friends that met in grade school and high school. They stayed together throughout her lifetime.
Betty was a wonderful wife to Reggie, a committed mother to her three children, and a dedicated grandmother to her five grandchildren. The children, their spouses, and grandchildren, share many fond memories of large family gatherings that have started traditions that will continue to be passed on through the generations. These traditions and memories allow continued remembrances and signify the heartfelt love her family will always hold for her.
