

Born December 16, 1924 in a log cabin on Chuckanut Drive to Clyde and Hilda Campbell; was taken from us January 17, 2012. She and her two sisters grew up on the water, and mom never really left it. She learned to sail as a young girl and any opportunity she had to go fishing, clam digging, or boating she was right there. She has traveled from Bellingham to Alaska by cabin cruiser and Baltimore to St. Petersburg, Florida by sail boat. During her high school years she worked in her father’s grocery store .
She taught accordion for many years, and worked at the B&M grocery store in Marysville until her retirement. After retirement she spent many happy hours playing the organ and spending time with her friends in her organ club. She leaves behind her husband, Floyd V. Dickie, in the family home. She also leaves her son Russell (Patsy) Clifton, daughter Joanne (Wayne) Hyder, step-sons Scott Dickie and Jeff Dickie She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren: Scott, Jill, Christine and Jennifer and six great-grandchildren: Dylan, Brittany, Calli, Devon, Bree, and Charlease.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Clifton, her parents, one sister and a step-daughter.
There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at the family home on Saturday January 28th.
