Dagny M. Henning

Dagny M. Henning, born October 4, 1921 in Monaset, Norway, passed away on June 9, 2011 in Redmond, WA. She enjoyed being part of the sewing club at Normanna Hall, gardening in her yard, and most of all, being a wonderful grandma. Dagny was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Everett. She is survived by her son Harry Henning and his wife Sheral of Salem, OR, daughter Marilyn Henselman and her husband Mark of Redmond, WA, brother Guttorm Ostevik of Norway, grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, Brandon, Cameron, Carolyn, Vanessa, and great-grandson Matthew. She was preceded in death by her husband Thor Henning in 2003, her parents Gunvald and Magna Ostevik, and her sister Austry. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11AM at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett. A celebration of Dagny’s life will follow at 1PM at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, 1702 Pacific Ave., Everett, 425-252-2191, purdy-walters-cassidy.com. There will be a luncheon to follow at her home.
