David Louis Short, born April 3, 1941 in Kansas City, MO, passed away on Sept. 9, 2011 in Everett, WA. A graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph, MO, David went on to serve his country in the US Army and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with his grandkids. David is survived by his son Brian D. Short (Kristy) of Marysville, WA, brothers Richard Short of St. Joseph, MO and Lloyd Short of Independence, MO, and grandchildren Shawn, Vicki, Adam, Kiley, and Kassidy. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Short in Dec. 1994 and son Ross Davis in Feb. 2011.
