George H. K. Monteiro

George was a painting contractor and interior decorator. He was a Life Member of the Elks and a member of Everett Yacht Club. George had an innate relationship with all animals; loved music, dancing, and singing, and was often coaxed to sing a song or two with the band; and enjoyed traveling, be it in the RV or trips to Europe and Jamaica.

George married Alice Isabelle Marchand on 3 November 1935. The shared 74 years together. They had four daughters. They lived in the home he built for 66 years, before moving into a retirement community.

George was preceded by his wife, Alice, his parents, and brother. He is survived by his daughters Dolores (Herb) Joyce, Margo Monteiro, Michele Patzer, and Suzanne Monteiro; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday 8 March at Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway AVE Everett WA 98201. Private entombment will be at the Evergreen Mausoleum.
