Laurey,Terry,Herb & Jeff, It's hard to think that the next time I come to Everett, I won't see Uncle Herb's smiling face.  He has always been someone I have loved and admired so much.  Never heard an unkind word, never saw a cross face, just a gentle, warm and loving gentleman.  As sad as I am he is gone, I always think about the homecoming he probably had and how happy he is to be home with your mom and the rest of his family and to see the Lord's face smiling and welcoming him.  Eternal rest to you Uncle Herb and love to all.

Lauray, Herb & Jeff - The world has lost one of the best ever. "Uncle Herb" was loved so much by the entire Phillips family. One of the kindest  and a true gentleman throughout his life. A man who will never be forgotten.

Our heart is sadden to learn of Herb's passing. He was the most warmest loving Man we ever met. I learned so much from both Herb & Terri when I worked with them at the Surgical Store. He was so open to everyone, he taught me how to be the best I could be as a person towards others! I could listen to his stories for hours. Lauray, my wife and I attended the funeral for your dad today. It was a very beautiful service; we enjoyed hearing the stories of your dad. Our hearts go out to you and the family in this time of sorrow.

Dearest Herbie, Jeff and family: So sorry for the loss of your father. He was such a kind man. God blessed him and your family for having him for so long.

Herb was one of my parents' favorite people.  I remember him as a handsome, caring man who always gave us a smile when he saw us.  
All my sympathy to his family and close friends.  The world will miss him; there just aren't enough Herb Knudsons.

We have been very blessed to have had Herb as a friend.  He will be missed but never forgotten.
