Lee Handy

Lee Handy passed away peacefully December 30, 2010. He was born July 7, 1931, at Arlington Hospital. He moved to Everett with his mother and step-father, Evelyn and Arthur Lervick, in 1941 and resided in Everett until his death.

Lee graduated from Everett High School in 1950 and attended Everett Community College. He worked at Lervick Logging and then Twin City Foods until his passing.

Lee was a life member of the Elks. He was a former member of AHEPA, the Everett Yacht Club and EG&CC.

Lee is survived by his wife of 59 years, Madelyn, his son Richard (Cecily), his daughters Susan (Chuck) and Mary; five grandsons Tony, Andy, Tom, Jon and Jeffrey, and the Lervick Families. He had nieces and nephews who will miss him, as will his many friends and extended family.

His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family at his beach house. He loved fishing, crabbing and clam digging. He loved to watch the water. He was also an avid Husky Football fan.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 11, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt, Everett, Washington 98201
