

Leo attended Sumner High. His nickname on the varsity basketball team was “Mouse” which he earned for his quickness and uncanny ability to score from anywhere on the court.
After graduation, he went to Central Wa. University for a year before entering the Navy, to become an officer during WWII. When his tour of duty ended. He entered WSU and graduated with a degree in Zoology. While attending WSU he met the love of his life Vera May Pratt. They were wed shortly after his graduation.
Leo took a job working for Spokane County Health Dpt.. While living in Spokane Leo and Vera started their family and in 1955 with 3 children moved to Everett Wa. to work for Shohomish Co. Health Dpt.. He retired as Director of Environmental Health after 33 ½ years. Leo was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Knights of Columbus, and American Legion.Leo was a devoted father and friend to everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife Vera and 5 children; John Moser, Louann Moser-Reyes (Fred), Jane Erickson(Slater), Vince Moser(Julie), and Patty Olsen(Greg), 21 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
A public viewing will be held April 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Purdy and Walters with Cassidy, 1702 Pacific Ave. Everett, WA. 98201. A funeral mass will be held April 11, 2011, 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception, 2501 Hoyt Ave. Everett, WA 98201
