

Lucille Clure Nation, born on March 5, 1919 in Minatare, Nebraska, passed away on March 9, 2012 in Everett, Washington. She married Merlin Nation December 12, 1935. They lived in Nebraska until they moved to Valley, WA in 1947 and to Everett, WA in 1963 where they have resided since. She sold real estate and was a homemaker. Lucille is survived by her sons, Milton (Naomi) and Richard (Arlene) of Snohomish, WA; daughter Joyce (Bill) Grooms of Everett; 10 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and many special friends as well as four sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Merlin Nation and infant son Ronald; her parents, Arthur and Lydia Clure; four sisters and three brothers. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on March 19th. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 19th at 1 p.m. at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home in Everett. Cookies and coffee will be served with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery.
