Ron King, 62, of Everett, left us to be with The Lord on November 1, 2010.
Ron was born July 31, 1948 in Ontario, Oregon. He was raised, and spent most of his younger years in the area of Ontario, OR Payette and Fruitland, ID, where he worked on the family farm, graduated Fruitland High School and eventually attended Treasure Valley Community College earning an AA degree.
Ron soon entered the Army National Guard, where he excelled to the level of Sergeant E9.
Ron moved to Washington state after marrying his first wife, Karen, in 1970. Together they had two sons.
Ron worked most of his life as an industrial chemical rep for Trigon which is now Sunrise Environmental Scientific.
Ron will be remembered for his love of music, a guitar player, singer/songwriter himself, his passion for war history and firearms, but mostly for his naughty humor and ornery personality which made him truly one of a kind.
It's just not the same without him. Ron will be missed!
He is survived by his father, Otis; a brother, Danny; a sister, Gloria; two sons, Jason and Daniel; two grandsons, Andrew and Micah; one grandchild on the way; and one well loved Lhasa apso, named Beau.
Memorial was held Friday afternoon, November 19 in Everett.
Arrangements under the direction of Purdy & Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett, WA.
