

July 23, 1944 - February 27, 2016 Bill was born to William and Edna Bayly on July 23, 1944 in Seattle, Wash. The Bayly family moved to the little town of Granite Falls, Wash. early on, where they built a home that Bill cherished for the rest of his life. Being the only child, Bill suffered great loss when both of his parents passed away at such an early age of his life. He was raised by his aunt and uncle and built relationships with a great set of classmates in his small home town. Once finishing high school, Bill joined the Air Force where he eventually was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona and he met the love of his life, Debbie Quinn. They married on May 28, 1966. Bill and Debbie returned to his hometown of Granite Falls, Washington where they remained together for the last 49 years. In that time, they had two children; Yvonne Danielle and William Sheffield. Bill passed away in his Granite Falls home on February 27, 2016 at the age of 71 with his kids by his side. He is survived by his children, Yvonne and Michael Marx; and Bill and Heather Bayly; his grandsons, Chase Marx and Matthew Carlock; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Denny and Sandi Quinn, Jeff and Joan Quinn, Tim and Jana Quinn, and Terry and Wanda Quinn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends. Bill is joining in heaven both of his parents, William and Edna Bayly; wife, Debbie; granddaughter, Madison Marx; and great nephew, Caleb Quinn James. Bill worked for the Boeing Company for 35 years before retirement in 2003. He was an amazing father and friend to many. Bill enjoyed his years involved in his kid's sports, Boy Scout activities, camping, working on classic cars, and watching football. His favorite times were those spent with family and friends; which were so important to him. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Purdy & Walter's Funeral Home - 1702 Pacific Ave, Everett, WA 98201. Immediately following, Bill will be laid to rest with Debbie in a short graveside blessing at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park - 1615 S.E. Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA 98208. Following that will be a luncheon at the Granite Falls Eagles - 402 N. Granite Ave, Granite Falls, WA 98252.
