

She received her formal education through the Chicago Public School System and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1973. She attended Illinois State University in Normal, IL. Upon returning from college Beverly was employed with Chicago Title and Trust and then was offered a position with the government and there she worked and became a manager assistant for over 30 years.
She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of her uncle Apostle Richard D. Henton. Beverly immersed herself into the church activities, Sunday School and later became a faithful member of the Voices of Monument.
Beverly possessed an undying love for her mother Gwen as well as her brother Michael who both preceded her in death. She had a special love for her brothers only child Jorie, her great, great-great nieces and nephews and her many sweet and loving cousins.
Beverly had three special friends, Ronnie Franklin, Demetria Smith and Vanessa Jackson.
Beverly will be missed by her father Vernal Henton, sister in law Margie Brewer, Jorie Henton-Hazel (Bill), Jason Brewer, five nieces Dominique Glass, Deanna Glass, Karisma Hazel, Danielle Glass, and Jorianna Hazel, three great nephews, William Hazel, Jay Glass and Mark Tutson (Kenyetta), great-great nephew Damorea Christmas, six great-great nieces Amiya Burton, Paris Pitts, Mia Pitts, Daliyah Glass, Kamarie Glass, Sydney Tutson and a host of friends and family.
