Frederick Melvin Brown Sr.

Frederick Melvin Brown Sr. was born March 12, 1941 in Chicago Illinois. Frederick was the only child born to Herman Brown and Artelia Jones. At age four his mother remarried a man who would shape and influence Fred his entire life. Thomas and Artelia raised Frederick together in a home full of structure and love.

Frederick attended Farragut High School in 1955 and shortly after graduating he enlisted in the United States Air Force. While serving his county, he met and married his wife Eleanor. Within their fifty three years of marriage together they raised six children. Fred’s hobbies included movies, traveling the open road, electronics and photography.

Frederick was called home on June 10, 2015 surrounded by his entire family embraced by love and prayer.

Frederick will be mostly remembered for being a good father and a proud service member for the United States Military.

Frederick leaves behind to treasure his loving memory wife Eleanor, six children : Cynthia, Tracy, Frederick Jr. (Kathy), Teresa (Charles), Eric (Angela) and Candice; seven grandchildren Jennifer, Jillian, Jayme, Jasmine, Alexia, Michael, and Charles), two great grandchildren Ethan and Cameron and a host of friends and loved ones.
