We love you Uncle George.. we will all miss you so much. Im taking good care of Aunt Bev. She was lucky to have you and you her. Love like that is hard to find.

He may not have been big in height, but he was big in heart.  I"ll always remember both Uncle George and Aunt Bev fondly. We shared a special day, December 9, 1950. The day they were married and the day my Mom (Millie Rott Healy) gave birth to me.  Though there was over 25 years difference in age, talking with Uncle George or Aunt Bev was easy and fun.  I especially loved hearing about Uncle George"s "gigs'.  You could feel the excitement anf fun on the stage as he described it.  I never got to see Uncle George perform, but maybe if I'm lucky and see him in the hereafter, he'll share a tune with me.  God bless him.  He will be missed..

Uncle George, the drummer with perfect timing, will be greatly missed. For a little man he had one of the biggest hearts of anyone we know. Always smiling, always gracious, quick witted and never a mean word on your lips. Your true love for Aunt Bev was so obvious to those around. Just being in the same room you couldn't help but be in a good mood. Our lives are better enhanced having known you. One Cool Cat smiling from above, now playing a different beat. You'll never be forgotten. Our Love and Prayers.

We grew up across the street from George and Bev.  I have many great memories of George and his numerous musician sayings....he always would ask what we "crazy cats" were doing.  He will be missed by all.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Bev and the entire family.

Will always remember Uncle George's twinkling eyes that were always on the look out for a good laugh. Mom shared great stories about growing up with her little brother. I can almost see him as a small boy at the stove getting ready to fry an egg which he had carefully placed in his pocket. Goofing around earned him a swat on the behind from my grandmother. Could it be that was the beginning of his impish smile? Aunt Bev, my prayers are with you. God bless you!

May joy soon replace the sorrow that's in your heart with cherished memories as you celebrate a life that was well lived.

George had the most infectious laugh of anyone I have ever known. He introduced me to "jazz" and the meaning of "hip" and "cool" before I could even read. I'll always fondly remember the "nummy" trays with olives. Who else would think it was "cool" to give a 3 year old olives???  :-)  I still love olives and can't eat them without thinking of Bev and George. I am blessed to have known him. The next time I hear thunder I know it will be George on the drums rockin' with the angels. Rest in peace dear man. Jan Dedo
