

BYRON NOE, Byron was born in Laurel County, Kentucky March 10, 1920. Son of the late Oliver and Emma (House) Noe. He was a disabled ARMY Veteran, served in Okinawa with the U.S. Army signal corps. He was an amateur radio operator for more than 70 years call sign W8ARN. He is a member of the Quarter Century Wireless Assn. He retired in 1980 from the Engineering Lab Aeronautical Systems Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 39 years of civil service. He was a member of the S A E committee and was the Air Force representative for wire and cable. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairborn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step – father Henry Brewer, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and his beloved daughter Cathy Roberts. Survived by wife Hilda- married 72 years, survived by a son Ronald Byron Noe (Nancy) of Manhattan Beach, California and 3 grandsons Sam, Eli, and Oliver, a granddaughter Lia all of Manhattan Beach, California, also a son- in- law Larry Roberts of Beavercreek, 3 grandchildren Jeffrey (Laura) Roberts of Woodstock, Virginia, Brent (Meredith) Roberts of Austin, Texas, and Julie (Chris) Fink of Delaware, Ohio. Also 12 great grandchildren Celia, Stephen, Paul, Monica, Adam, Victoria, and Benjamin Roberts; Ethan, Jeremiah and Stella Roberts; Amelia and Luca Fink. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Friends may call on Saturday December 28th from 9:30AM – 11AM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E Main St. Fairborn, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Saturday December 28th at 11:00 am with John Hill officiating.
