Delora Katherine Moore

Delora Katherine Moore age 80 of Springfield died on January 9, 2017 at Wright Nursing and Rehab. She was born the daughter of Jasper & Mary (Cottrell) Daniel on July 14, 1936 in Rose Hill, Virginia. Delora was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Raymond Moore, brothers Albert, Arthur, and White; sisters Opal, Gladys, Almira, Lucille, and Maddelin; daughter Linda Gale Brown; great granddaughter Willow . Delora is survived by daughters Kathy Collins and Karen (Dave) Criner; son Alan (Maxine) Moore; brothers Earnest Daniel, David (Donna) Daniel, and Steve (Dorothy) Daniel; grandchildren Allissa Collins, Katie Collins, Mike (Michelle) Bonelli, Chelsea Criner, Katie Rieske, Paul Brown, Olivia Moore, Mathew (Brittany) Moore, Rachel (Tim) Bird, and Thomas Moore, and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at United Holiness Church, 436 Lyle Ave. Springfield, Ohio 45505 on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 12PM with Rev. Elzie Moore, Steve Daniel, and Rev. Doug McConehea officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Delora was very active in her church being a pastor’s wife for over 40 years. She loved serving God and was a true “Prayer Warrior”.
