Dorothy Lane

LANE, Dorothy L. age 83 of Fairborn, passed away at Heartland of Beavercreek on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was born July 7, 1934 in Rock Castle County, KY the daughter of Dova Johnson and Grover Burke. Dorothy was an avid bingo player, loved to shop and enjoyed traveling with her companion. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Bearl Lane; her siblings, Marie, Helen, Patsy, Betty, and John Lee; son-in-law, Tony; and daughter-in-law, Sharon. Dorothy is survived by her longtime companion, Gene White of Fairborn; children, Peggy Pareseau (Bill Neece) of Fairborn, Daryl Lane of Fairborn, and Edward Lane (Denise Skaggs) of Medway; siblings, Kat, Wanda and Gary; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. Friends may visit Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH 4532. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Friday, September 8 at 11 AM with Pastor R.C. McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
