Eugene Kauffman

Kauffman, Eugene P., age 56, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 7th, 2012, at the Karl Rd ResCare facility in Columbus, Ohio. HomeReach Hospice, of Columbus, affiliated with Riverside Methodist Hospital, provided in-home care for Gene’s final days. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, June 13th, 1955. Gene was the son of Margaret E. (Clark) Kauffman, and Lloyd B. Kauffman, both of whom are deceased, and were long time members of Mary, Help of Christians Church. Gene is survived by his siblings, Judy Clemons, Joe Kauffman, Raymond Kauffman, and Rita Brown; 6 nephews, 4 nieces; 3 great nieces. Gene was predeceased by one nephew. Gene graduated from Fairborn High School and was a long-term resident of ResCare Ohio. He especially enjoyed building models of all types – including ships, motorcycles, cars, etc. He enjoyed playing board games and cards with family and friends.
