Jack Douglas Grody

Jack D. Grody age 83 of Springfield died on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Jack was born the son of Theodore R. & Lena Mae (Hunt) Grody on April 9, 1933 in Osborn, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Candy Denny, and step daughter Wende Bodey. Jack is survived by his loving wife Sandra of 28 years; daughters Teresa Grody, Rebecca (Jimmy) Faust, Vicky Grody, Jackie Grody (Chis) Steiner; step daughters Joni (Lynn) Coressel, and Kristy (Roger) Holmes; sisters Clara Aldrich, and Sandra Blatchford; brother Donald J. Grody; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all of those who love him. Jack proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army retiring after 20 years of faithful service, working as a Chief Warrant Officer. After his career in the military he went to work for Wright State University as an estimator planner. Jack was a member of Michael L. Finnell Lodge #
