JoAnne Griffin

JUANITA E. (JOANNE) LAMB MILLER GRIFFIN, age 78 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2012 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born the daughter of George P. & Lilly (Pointer) Lamb on May 14, 1933 in Berea, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents, her 1rst husband Elmer E. (Doc) Miller married June 23, 1951 to January 24, 1958, and her 2nd husband John Wesley Griffin married May 4, 1978 to July 24, 1981, her brothers Robert G. Smith, Glen H. Jones, and Scotty P. Lamb, her sister Delores (June) Lamb Mans. She is survived by her daughter Gwenn S. Miller Rose (Tim Bowling), her son Russell D. (Christina) Miller, grandchildren Brandi S. Jakes, Kyle P. (Stephanie) Ferguson, Rusty Ann Williams, Jordan Lee Ann Miller, Jade Erin Miller, and Tayler Cole, great grandchildren Savannah and Kadian Ferguson, and K.J. Williams, brother William (Richard) Lamb, sisters Ruby Smith Howard and Barbara L. Lamb Plantz, and many nieces and nephews. Jo Anne worked at Southwestern Portland Cement and at Select Tech/CACI until she retired in October of 1997. Jo Anne will always be remembered as a caring and loving person and she will be missed by all who loved her. Friends may call in the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd. Dayton, Ohio on Monday, April 23, 2012 5 to 9 PM where services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10 AM with Brother Silas Hoskins & Brother Larry Thomas officiating.
