Phyllis L Howe Burrell

Phyllis L. Burrell, of Marion, Ohio formerly of Fairborn, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her home. She was born July 26, 1924 a daughter of the late Laverne B. and Viola (Teater) Howe in Genesse, Potter County, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Francis A. Burrell on January 7, 2002.

Phyllis was a resident of Fairborn since 1972, moving to Marion, Ohio to be close to family in 2006. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, Colonial Baptist Church and Rona Community Church in Fairborn and a member of Faith Bible Fellowship in Marion at the time of her death. After her husband’s retirement from military service in the Air Force, Phyllis and her husband, Frank, started the Faith Christian Bookstore of Fairborn. Phyllis was active in her churches’ missions and ladies’ groups and was a supporter of a number of ministries and missionaries over her lifetime.

She is survived by her oldest son Frank (Sharon) Burrell of Bay City, Michigan, her daughter Bonnie (Philip) Bustrum of Grand Rapids, Michigan and her youngest son Bradley (Sally) Burrell of Marion, Ohio. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main Street, Fairborn, Ohio on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1 PM with a graveside committal to follow at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
