Raymond Wagoner, our beloved father passed away knowing he is beloved on May 14 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Jennie Wagoner, children Jean, Karen, Michael and John, and grandchildren Jennifer, Brian, Amy, Rachel, Kiefer and Lee, plus many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Debra and will be interred by her side.
Raymond Martin Wagoner was born October 30, 1933, in Vincennes, Indiana, where he met and married Jennie Mae Donaldson. After a stint in the Army, they moved to Ohio, and eventually retired to Texas. His career was as a long-haul trucker so many across the continent know him only as CB name WagonMaster. No matter where he was, everybody he met would comment on how nice man he was. His favorite activities included sports, tinkering with vehicles, barbecuing for the family and playing cards.
Interment will be a graveside service for immediate family. You may salute him by downing some whiskey to a Johnny Cash tune.
