Rita Frances Berberich

Berberich,Rita Frances Lillian, age 90, of Fairborn, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023 at Soin Medical Center. She was born on 10/13/1933 in Braintree, England to Alec and Mabel (Archer) Osborne. On August 13, 1955, she married her loving husband Victor John Berberich. Victor passed away on August 22, 2020. She is survived by her children Melinda (Randy) Ledford, Michael (Helen) Berberich, Michele Flenor, Martin (Karen) Berberich and Melissa Heil. Grandchildren Matthew (Jamie), Sarah (Joel), Bradley, Adam (Becca) Joshua, Jessie (Jake) Channing (Brianna), Victor, Spencer (Paige), Natalie (Patrick) Nicholas, Benjamin (Kelly), Matthew, Jacob and Lauren, 20 Great Grandchildren, her sister Carol Abilez, and her Brother Malcolm (Johan) Osborne. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Richard Osborne, and her son in law Andrew Heil. She and Victor were founding members of Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church in Fairborn and Rita was still an active member of the church. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, at the Church. She volunteered with the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes and Mary Help of Christians School, as well as Carroll High School. She belonged to British Wives Club for 50 + years, loved to bowl and work in her garden. Her pets were her “4 legged children”. She thoroughly enjoyed working for Hallmark Cards in Fairborn and Beavercreek for 19 years.

Family will receive friends on Thursday October 26, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., in Fairborn. A Prayer service and Eulogy will be at 7:00pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 am Friday October 27th at Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church in Fairborn. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn.
