Sandra Rose Fisher

Sandra Rose Fisher, 80, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024. She was born on June 18, 1944, in the Dayton area, to her loving parents Helen and Earl Calahan. Sandra grew up with her two sisters, Earline Banks and Nella Lohr, who remained close throughout their lives.

In 1998, Sandra relocated to Summerfield, FL, with her beloved husband Bill, where they enjoyed their retirement under the warm Florida sun. Sandra embraced her leisure time, enjoying golf, playing slots, and relaxing by the poolside with a wide circle of cherished friends.

Family was at the center of Sandra’s life, and she cherished every moment with them. Known for her strong faith, spirited nature and sharp memory, Sandra entertained her loved ones with her humor and quick wit, always ready with a joke to brighten any occasion.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, her nephew Kevin Banks, and brother-in-law Ron Lohr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Steve Sellers, her sisters Earline Banks (Paul) and Nella Lohr, nieces and nephews Melanie Miller (Tracy), Kim Penny (Scott Becker), Amy Banks, grand nieces and nephews Tori Penny, Lohren Miller, Blake Miller (Liberty), Rachel Banks, and her grandpups Sassy and Patches, who brought her great joy.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 NOON on Thursday, July 25, 2024 in the Chapel at Glen Haven Memory Gardens (8200 W. National Road, New Carlisle, OH, 45344). The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org, in Sandra’s memory.
