Alan Johnson

Alan was a Boiler Maker for 20+ years, a Free and Accepted Masons at Fairdale Lodge 942, and member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 40. He really loved his children, especially watching them play sports as they were kids. He was known to be a very loving man.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-laws, Carla Johnson, Donna Johnson; grandson, Denny Shae; siblings, Willie Jr., James Brisco (JB), Robert (Bobby), Norma Neville, Vernon (Bud), Gilbert, Howard, and Allene.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Mary Johnson; children, John Alan Johnson (Sandra), Belinda Watson (Doug), James Earl Johnson, Kiley Johnson; grandchildren, Billy Hundley, Christopher Johnson, (Mikayla), Kristin Johnson, Blake Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, Bradley Shea; great-grandchildren, Cadence Hundley, Noah Hundley, Kendall Shea, Olivia Johnson, Madeline Johnson; and sister, Beverly Leverette.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2-8pm at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Fairdale, KY. Service will be on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11am with visitation starting at 9am. Burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
