Betty Jean McCreary, 82, entered into rest on Thursday January 8, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Ray McCreary; parents, Louis and Flora (Caple) White, Sr.; sisters, Marcella McIntosh and Zela Skaggs; brothers, Tony White and Frank White, Jr.; She attend Evangel World Prayer Center.
Betty passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion to her family. Family was the most important part of her life, and she cherished every moment spent together. She especially loved being outdoors on warm days, finding joy and peace in nature. Betty was known for her kind and selfless heart, always willing to do anything for anyone in need. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Raymond McCreary and Stephanie Jackson (Michael); granddaughter, Ashley Kerr (CJ);great grandchildren, Colby and Channing Kerr; sister, Jeanette Laws. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 16, 2026 at 12noon at the Fairdale - McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with burial following in Brookland Cemetery. Her visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
