Chester Ray McCreary, 79, entered into rest on Thursday December 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene and Gerald Gagel; He attended Evangel World Prayer Center and was an Marine Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty McCreary; son, Raymond McCreary; daughter, Stephanie Jackson (Michael); granddaughter, Ashley Kerr (CJ); great grandchildren, Colby and Channing Kerr; brother, Eddie Constant, Jr; sisters, Shirley Warren, Geraldine Ashcraft and Jane Smith. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 at 12noon at the Fairdale - McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery; His visitation will be held on Wednesday December 17, 2025 from 1 - 8pm at the funeral home.
