Connie Jean McCawley, 78, entered into rest on Tuesday December 9, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Alice Bryant; grandson, Charles Wheeler; brothers, Danny Bryant and Gilbert Bryant. Connie was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. She worked at S & H Bar & Grill, Hicks in Starks Building, New York Bar & Grill, Rainbow Day Care, Ryans Steak House, and Hillview Wal-Mart. She went to school at Dupont Manuel and Southern High School. Mom was the rock of the family and she loved her family beyond boundaries. She will be missed by all who knew her!! She is survived by her children, Miles David McCawley (Belinda), Robin Wheeler (Buddy), Tammy Kane (Joseph), James S. McCawley (Michelle); 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 12noon at the Fairdale – McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with burial following in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday December 15, 2025 from 2 – 8 pm at the funeral home and after 9am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
