Dorothy was a member of Fairdale Eastern Star and the Eagle's Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Caple Sr.; son, William Frederick Caple; sisters, Mattie McCubbins, Virginia Hawkins, Leona Mills, Ada Knott, Hilda Rhodes, Loretta Rennirt, and Roma Jean Rennirt.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Robert E. Caple Jr. (Susan), Gary Wayne Caple (Joanne); daughter, Denise Montgomery (Bobby); brother, William Rennirt Jr.; grandchildren, Andrea, Freddy Jr., Derek, Christina, Heather, Tara; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family has requested that services be private.
