Neva Lillian Embrey, 90, of Fairdale, KY, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Parrs of Springhurst. She was the former Neva Folks and a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church. She retired as sales manager at Fashion Shop. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Roscoe Lee Embrey, her son, Albert Embrey, her parents, Morris & Mary Folks and six sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Cherri Owen (Mickey), and Mary Murphy (Shelby); daughter in law Bonnie Embrey, sister, Maurice Story, brother- in- law Larry Embrey, grandchildren, Kim Burns (David) Dana Byrley, David Embrey (Connie), Glenn Embrey, Kelly Maloney, Jodi Anderson (Mathie), great grandchildren, Alexis, Dustin, Evan, Shane, Tyler, Mercedes, Blake, Connor, Mariah, Tanner, Dawson, Trace, Brennen, Lillian, Kaleigh, Owen, Thomas, and Lee., great –great- grandchildren, Brenton and Paislee; and many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and staff at Parrs who will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be 1PM Thursday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12:30-8PM Wednesday.
