Thomas William Long, 79, of Fairdale, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. He was a Army Veteran and owner & operator of Thomas Long Trenching. He was preceded in death by his son, Mike, parents, William & Inez Long, brothers, Gerald "Ray" & Richard "Oogie" Long. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Long (Steve Koenig), son, Jeff Long, grandson, Mike Long, sisters, Phyllis DuPont & Debbie Pomerleau (Butch) brothers, Ronnie, Gary & Terry Long (Mary) and many nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. In memory of Thomas, contributions may be made to Fairdale Lions Club.
