i still miss you more than ever. i have a little boy and a little girl now. they both remind me so much of myself at their ages. we named our little girl partially after you. oh and you wouldve loved my partner. i can hear you now "that long hair" and you were a sucker for his eye color too lol. it still hurts when i think of you and i think of all the things that were left unsaid, all the memories that you werent physically here for. i know you showed up in spirit. i also finally had a dream that you talked to me! usually in those dreams you dont say anything. but this time i got to talk to you. and it was like you had never left. you were really healthy. you also had your brown hair! you looked the same as when you did when we were all little. i wish you could somehow get a phone up there. theres so much i want to tell you. i know youre watching over all of us. i love you so much mammaw, until we meet again. love and prayers, 3 squeezes <3

I miss you mamaw. The year is moving forward and the holidays are coming and going. It feels so strange that you're not here to celebrate with all of us. There's so much I wanted to happen before you left but I know you're not really gone. I love you.

She is the best Mamaw, Friend a granddaughter could ever ask for. I am all out of words. Jesus, just wrap your arms around everyone who is hurting and missing her, let them know that you are with them and that she made it to heaven safely.

Vicki was the neighborhood mom for all the kids back when my children were young.  She was a great, kind, and special lady.  I will always have nice memories of her to carry with me.  I believe I will see her again one day.  So sorry for your loss Kenny, Christy, Kyle, Apryl and Nisey.

I don't know what I will do now, you know exactly how I feel as a parent because you have went through the same things. I just don't know what to say. I love you, I already miss you. I know you would say just keep on keeping on, but  how do I do that? I love you.

The world lost a truly amazing woman, she was cut from a cloth that only angels are made from, and although I selfishly miss her, I thank you Lord for finally ending her suffering. Thank you Vicki for always saying exactly what I needed to hear, and for caring when you really had no reason to, except that that's just who you were. I will always remember you with a smile on my face and love in my heart. God bless your amazing soul. R.I.P.

Dear Vicki's children, Marleen and Louise, we have lost an earthly treasure but gained an angel to watch over us in heaven. She was truly one of the greatest christian influences in my life. She never stumbled in her belief of the Lord. I always admired that in Vicki and today attribute my firm belief partly to her. I was talking about her just the other day and now I am so sorry I didn't try to contact her. My heart goes out to you all and I will keep you all in my prayers. Mammaw? Im going to miss the car rides to your house talking about god and heaven and listening to the christian radio . I'm going to miss singing Brown Eyed Girls by Vann Morrison . But most of all I'm going to miss all the little things . Like how even when I was 14 I still fell asleep with you on your bed when I would spend the night because you didn't want me to be bothered on the couch, and how we would watch cartoon movies with Junie , how you would do my "makeup" ; but what I'll miss most of all is that smile , that laugh , that voice that I'll never hear till I leave earth too? Im going to miss hanging out with you and going to Bingo or just the store . I'm going to miss everything about you so much and its just like a dream . I couldn't believe it really happened because youve been through so much that I thought you would finally win . I thought you would just one day wake up and it was gone, no more chemo, and no more cancer . Also no more arthritis. And you'd be better . But life doesn't work that way . But I love you mammaw and I know youre doing wonderful up there . Tell your parents I hope to see them one day ; same to Doug and your sister .
