Alfred was born in New London Ct to Edna and Nicholas Schultz on 28 Dec 1948. He went to school at Amador HS, Sutter Creek, Ca. He graduated from UC Davis and UNR, Reno, Nv. He worked as a Astronomer both at Hubble Telescope and for NASA for many years. He is a discoverer of a planet around another star. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war and served in the Air Force as a photographer. He was a member of the American Legion.
Alfred is preceded in death by his parents.
Alfred is survived by brothers, Robert, and Albert Schultz; and sisters, Irene Mihok, Nicoli Larson, Carol Hernandez, and Donna Peters.
