Andrew W. Freitas, aged 54, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2024, at his home in Oakton, VA. Born on February 20, 1970, Andy graduated from Hampden-Sydney College and served on the Board of Trustees. He went on to become the President of Colonel's Limited, LLC. He co-owned and operated 98 Papa Johns restaurants across Maryland and Virginia. He served on the Papa Johns Franchise Advisory Committee and mentored hundreds of franchisees across the nation.
Beyond his business acumen, Andy was a devoted member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, VA.
He is survived by his father, Bill; mother, Francie; son, Charlie; daughter, Francie; and brother, Pat and sister-in-law Tammy; and niece Jillian. He was predeceased by his son, Henry.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, honoring Andy’s commitment to his faith and community.
A reception will be held at 4:00pm at St. Mark Catholic Church.
