Cherylanne Crosby

Cherylanne Crosby, 54, of Fairfax, VA passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on April 9, 2024. She was born in Annapolis, MD, and though she moved to Fairfax at a young age, she took pride in being an Annapolis girl at heart. She spent her life celebrating the wonder and beauty of all things, from music and art to crystals and cats, specifically Buddy, George and Snoopy. She loved the ocean and days spent searching for treasures in the sand, always eager to share them with family and friends, all of whom mourn her loss deeply. They include Kenny Pitts, her loving husband of twenty-five years; her children Brittany Marie (Marcus), Weston Carter, and Grayson Crosby; her God Daughters; Emily and Jessica (Ariel); her sisters Connie (David) and Hope (Bobby); her grandson Malachi; nephews Chris and Peyton; her nieces Karla and Kerra; her cousin Suzanne, and leagues of family and friends fortunate to have known her uniquely beautiful spirit. Preceding her in death were her parents, Richard and Ruthanne Crosby and her grandmother, Ruth Mae Napier. A celebration of life for Cherylanne will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home. Cherylanne will be laid to rest in Fairfax City Cemetery.
