Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Larry and Sue Kohler. He graduated from West Springfield Highschool in 1980 and pursued a career in graphic design.
He is survived by his parents Larry and Sue Kohler of Fairfax, Virginia, children Taylor and Ryan Kohler, his sister Kelly Marriott and brother Brian Kohler.
A funeral service will be held on February 5th at 12:00pm at Old St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5612 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA 22039 with interment at the Old St Mary's Catholic Church cemetery. A family viewing will be held on Friday, January 30th, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Demaine Funeral Home,10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a donation to Catholic Charities.
