Franklin Freemont Cooper of Melbourne Florida passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020 at the age of 79. He was surrounded by his loving family. A grave side service will be held at 10 am on March 21, 2020 at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S. Hwy US1, Rockledge, FL.
Frank was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon on May 26, 1940. Frank was the last of eight children born to his parents, Henry and Amanda Cooper. He worked on the family farm until the age of eighteen when he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served 6 years. After his military service, Frank continued serving his country for 30+ years working within the Central Intelligence Agency until his retirement. During a foreign service assignment to Bolivia he met and married his wife of 52 years, Carol Ann whose death precedes him. Frank was a proud and dedicated American with a deep love of his country and his family.
He is survived by his sons Kevin and Craig; their wives, Martitness and Michaela; and his cherished grandchildren Christopher and Melanie. His brother Kenneth also survives him. Lastly, he is survived by his beloved dog, Catherine.
