

Fuad Hanna Danfora, age 91, resident of Aldie, Virginia peacefully went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on June 8, 1931 in Ramallah, Palestine. Fuad went to the Catholic school and worked at the printing press in his teenage years in Ramallah, Palestine. He immigrated to the United States in 1958. For over 40 years he owned and operated several restaurants and grocery stores.
After retirement he pursued his dream of building a home on several acres of land with views of the mountains. Some of his favorite pastimes were being outdoors working in the yard and spending time on his tractor. He was a very faithful man with a generous spirit. He loved life and spending time with family.
Fuad Danfora was preceded in death by his daughter, Lucille Baba (Jawad). He is survived by his wife, Souad Danfora, his daughters Joanne Rukab, Renee Grosse (Barry), Sonya Danfora, his step-children Karim Belkacem (Miriam) and Fatima Belkacem, his grandchildren Christopher Rukab, Brittany Mickler (Jason), Taylor Grosse (Reed), Danielle Grosse, Jovani Baba, Shane Baba, his step-grandchild Ryan Belkacem, and his great-grandchildren McKenzie Mickler and Jaycee Mickler. He is also survived by his sister, Yesmine Ohanian, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be held on March 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Holy Transfiguration Melkite Greek Catholic Church, 8501 Lewinsville Road, McLean, VA 22102. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the same location with Interment to be held at 1:00 PM at City of Fairfax Cemetery.
Fuad loved the St. Jude Children's Hospital and all they did. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to their charity in his name.
