James Lee Stout, age 67, residing in Herndon, VA., died of natural causes peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2019. Jim was born November 2, 1951 in Easton, PA, the son of Francis Arling Stout and Leola Elizabeth Lutz Stout.
Jim was raised in Washington D.C. and Clinton, Maryland. He graduated from Surrattsville Senior High School the class of 1969 studying business/college prep and was the captain of the wrestling team.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland College Park, MD where he also loved to teach. His career in the Information Systems Management field started with AMS in Rossyln, VA and led him to the position of Vice President of SAIC in Reston, VA. He enjoyed motorcycles, flying small planes, and many a day sailing out on the Chesapeake Bay.
He is survived by his two sons Brian Edward Stout and Eric Stout, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother Ronald F. Stout and wife Janet Brown, sister Ruth A. Maitland and husband Peter Maitland, sister Janet L. Stout, and brother Robert E. Stout.
