

Mr. Jarrel Marquis Hall also known as “Jay” was born on September 23, 1987, in the U.S. Army Military Hospital where his loving parents Reginald and Cheryl were stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. The family later relocated to the Northern Virginia area. He was educated in the Fairfax County Public School System, attending schools at Fort Belvoir Virginia and graduated High School at Hayfield Secondary School, Class of 2006. Afterward he moved on to complete his higher education, obtaining dual Associates of Science degrees in Communication and Interactive Design at Northern Virginia Community College, graduating Class of 2011. He served in the Student Government Association (SGA) as the Vice President from 2010 to 2011 and was the Founder of the Art League at the Alexandria NVCC campus. He accepted Christ into his life at an early age, remaining a faithful believer throughout his life. Jarrel was a positive, kind, caring, loving and thoughtful person who treasured his family and friendships. A natural leader and trainer who enjoyed good humor and laughter. He had a love for music, art, sports, cooking gourmet meals, grilling, computers, video gaming and gardening. Jarrel had a true vision and talent for graphics and web design and was able to apply these skills as a Freelance Graphics Designer. He had also developed a special interest in his family’s Genealogy, and researching his Ancestry.
Jarrel’s presence will truly be missed deeply, and he will always be a blessing and joy to our Family. We will love and remember him in our hearts forever. The Hall Family

Jarrel was laid to rest on 22 April 2025 at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria Virginia.
