Joseph Clyde Byram, Jr.

Joseph Clyde Byram, Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Lancaster Byram who predeceased him on April 4, 2015, and the loving father of Amy L. Byram, Lorie B. Dobbins, and Jennifer B. Keys. He is also survived by grandchildren Christopher Doheny, Nicolas Khoury, Jacob Khoury, Ashley Dobbins, and Taylor Dobbins, as well as his sister, Judith B. Ponton. Mr. Byram served in the United States Marine Corps for more than twenty-six years before retiring in 1979 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a decorated fighter pilot devoted to serving God and country, and will be laid to rest with full military honors. His life will be celebrated at Fairfax Baptist Church, 10830 Main Street, Fairfax, VA on May 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, followed by a reception for friends and family at Fairfax Baptist Church.
