Julia Ann Little 84 of Fairfax VA passed away peacefully on April 1 surrounded by her family after only a week of illness. Born January 9, 1937 Bangor, Maine to William Lewis and Ruey Pearl Logan Roberts. She graduated from Bangor High School class of 1955, where she was active in sports, chorus and played the clarinet in the Band. After graduating from Beal College in Bangor she moved to DC to take a position with the CIA. In 1959 she moved to the Greater Hartford Area where she worked for a few years as executive secretary at the Ward School of Electronics, a division of the University of Hartford. On her return to DC, again working for the CIA, she met and married in 1966 Arthur F Little of Fairfax, VA her soulmate for 55 years. They loved to travel the world, visiting often in England where they had friends. They did camping trips with their daughter Christina in the Blue Ridge Mountains and at beaches along the coast. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Later Julia put all her credits together and received her BS in Fine Arts from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She often did craft shows selling note cards and small paintings. Together Julie and Art liked studying the Civil War worked on several history projects including his long-standing family history in the Fairfax area. She loved being a Grandma to Christina’s children and Art’s children’s children always remembering birthdays and holidays. Besides her husband Arthur, she leaves her sisters Celia Ann Roberts, Canton, CT; Barbara Ann Boylan, Talmadge, Ohio; her daughter Christina A Blenk (Michael) Johnstown, Ohio; Sandra Jaffe (Ed) Ranch Palos Verdes, CA; Jay Little (Lizbeth) Falls Church, VA; Derek Little (Coral), Texas; grandchildren Elizabeth and Emily Blenk, Sarah Jaffe, and Gia Little.
