

Kenyon Lauten Pease JR, 77, was born in Natick MA. On his seventeenth birthday he enlisted in the U S Army as a Combat Infantryman and the Military Police. From 1960 to 1962 he served in the Republic of South Korea. He later served in the U S Air Force. Due to family obligations, it was necessary to end his military career after six years. Returning to civilian life he raised a family and became active in community affairs. Kenyon served as President of the Local Jaycees Chapter, President of his Local APWU, and served as a APWU National Officer representing a Tri State Area. After thirty years he retired from the U S Postal Service and was active in the Alliance for Retired Americans where he spoke a number of times about Medicare and Social Security in front of Congress.
Kenyon L Pease Jr passed away on January 2, 2021 after battling heart disease and kidney failure. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Pease, and six children, Jeanette Pease Powers, Susanne Pease Quirk, Amanda Simmons Gordon, Jeanne Elizabeth Simmons, Douglas Kenyon Pease, and Nathaniel Levi Pease. He adored his 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Melanie, Michael, Jacqueline, Jax and Ava.
Ken’s wish was to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. A private family service will be held there at a later date.
