Kimlyn Edwards

Kimlyn (Kim) Edwards, 67, of Atlanta, GA, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, May 30, 2021 Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Reston, VA. The youngest of four children, Kim was born in New London, CT to Frances Louise Meaders and Emory Howel Edwards, Jr. on April 18, 1954. She is preceded in death by her father Emory, her brother Thomas Meaders Edwards, her mother Frances, her former husband Jack Dake Baggett, her brother-in-law Leander (Lee) Anthony Bauer, and many well-loved family pets. She is survived by her daughter Victoria Lynn Larson (spouse, Joshua Cory Larson), her brother Emory (Bo) Howel Edwards III (spouse, Lynn Patricia Edwards), her sister Nancy Jo Bauer (widow of Lee Anthony Bauer), and her beloved dog Gypsy. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1972 and attended Dekalb College. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Federal Sign, NCR, and AT&T before devoting her time to acting as primary caretaker for her mother in the years preceding her mother’s death. She was an animal lover blessed with a beautiful singing voice and a generous heart. She adored musical theater, Disney, and sharing good food with family and friends. In lieu of a memorial service, Kim’s ashes will be scattered in a to-be-determined beautiful location at a future date.
