

Marcia Plummer Neal, aged 75, peacefully passed away on March 16, 2024, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on December 3, 1948, in Quincy, MA. Marcia was the cherished daughter of Charles and Edith Plummer.
A beacon of love, resilience, and unwavering faith, Marcia's life was a testament to the power of kindness and compassion. As a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend, she left an indelible mark on all those who knew her. Marcia's legacy is woven with threads of warmth, strength, and boundless love.
A dedicated elementary school teacher, Marcia's nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family. Through her guidance and care, she touched the lives of countless students, imparting not just knowledge but also values of kindness and empathy. As a military wife, she journeyed the world with her husband, Harold L. Neal, III, and children, facing each new chapter with unwavering stability and strength, nurturing her children into resilient, independent individuals who carry her legacy forward. Marcia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Harold, who passed away in 2018.
In her leisure time, Marcia found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was a walk with friends, Aquabelles, playing cards, learning the intricacies of golf, or enjoying the tranquility of the beach. Her laughter was infectious and her smile could brighten a room.
Marcia is survived by her loving children, daughter Allison McArthur (Jonathan McArthur), son Jeffrey Neal (Amy Neal), and her cherished granddaughters, Katherine, Natalie, Grace, and Olivia. She is also survived by her brother Larry Plummer (Patricia Plummer), and sister Linda Lawson (Andrew Lawson, d.2017), as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
